brake fluid

my brake fluid was on and i think i need some more. the question is that the manul book of my prelude says you have to use a HONDA dot3. but can i use just a regular dot3 fluid even if it did not says HONDA?

Prestone or Joe Schmoe brand is fine.






...well, dont use Joe Schmoe DOT 3 brake fluid...that was an exaggeration

Yes, you can.

It also says on the cap to use DOT 3 or DOT 4 brake fluid. I personally use DOT 3. I just added some the other day as my brake light was coming on and off. Guess it was low enough to set off the sensor.
