Starting problems.

I have a 1997 Basic model Prelude, yesterday morning it sounded like the starter was out, after it was replaced it started fine with no problems. I started it this morning, it started fine but right after it started the rpm's dropped between 650-800 and after a minute or so was back into idling range. I turned it off then attempted to start it again and it was the exact same noise as the morning before. It sounds like it's getting power (not a lot, but enough) but the engines not spinning over . I'm going to attempt to jump start it after school.

Any Ideas?

Re: Starting problems.

Maybe alternator is starting to give out or battery is getting old. When u get it started connect a multimeter if you have one, they are pretty cheap and useful if you gotta buy one. Anyways connect the positive and negative leads to the battery and see if you are getting 14.x volts or not.
