I'm losing my mind...

Ok. I've been working for hours (5+)on end to remove the old intake manifold gasket. Insanity is starting to set in and I'm gonna lose it. Any tips or ideas on how to get this baked on gasket removed? I've been using PB blaster, carb cleaner and a razor blade scraper to work on it. I've made minimal progress and I'm on a timeframe. How squeaky clean does it have to be? I'm placing a Hondata thermal gasket…if I ever get there. Thanks to any suggestions.

Take your time and scrape away.

Removing the intake manifold studs makes it a little easier, so you're not working around them.

I used just a razer blade on one of those flat scrapers from pep boys. Worked fine, but took me the better part of 2+ hours...

It needs to be completely removed in order to use a new gasket. Especially a hondata such as you have.

Thanks, man. Finally got it cleaned with just a razor blade and scraper tool. Thanks to Honda for that tedious busy work.
