Project Opinions

I'm still planning to do my calipers just waiting on a time that I can do it, always something in the way. I'm also trying to plan ahead and want to plan my next project. Would like to do something cosmetic interior or exterior, but can't really make up my mind on anything, and am also on a pretty tight budget . Up for any ideas and input.

Re: Project Opinions

are you leaning towards functional Mods?? Cosmetic?? or Repairs??

I started with Repairs, then functional items. depends on what kind of mods you want. if you dont plan everything out right, you can end up spending twice as much for somethings you may want. Plan Plan Plan

Re: Project Opinions

I actually started with the least exspensive mods to the most exspensive lol. kind of lazy but I worked up to it. think i did Brake Rotors, oil cap, intake, sway bars, strut bar, exhaust. then Honda JDM Fogs and Coilovers. more stuff, but just to give you an idea

Re: Project Opinions

If you already took care of everything maintenance I would say coilovers and rims.

Re: Project Opinions

I've got coilovers, exhaust, and intake taken care of, I've got some pretty good rims just need to hit them with some paint, thinking semi-gloss black (as opposed to flat black on them now) and my wheels aren't great but they're almost brand new. No maintenance really needs to be done at the moment everything is in pretty good shape so I was thinking more cosmetics. I like the fog light idea, I was also thinking about underbody neons, maybe red. New seats were also something I was thinking about..

Re: Project Opinions

Just check your local laws on neons. Where I live underbody lights are NOT legal, so be careful
Also a lot of people on here will tell you that's rice, but hey its your car, I think a red underglow would look tight :)

Re: Project Opinions

And if you get seats, I'd suggest something like corbeau or cipher. Not that expensive, still has the quality of higher end seats, and corbeau even makes some FIA approved seats that won't break your budget.

I am a Huge fan of the JDM fogs. one of my favorite mods to the Prelude. they are litterally mount, plug, & play from honda. come with all harnesses and wires. or you can go eBay and save some money... but I would go Real Deal

Re: Project Opinions

HONDA PRELUDE 97-02 OEM OEM JDM FOG LIGHTS - YELLOW

are those good quality, I'm sorry I'm not familiar with lights so I don't even know where to begin, was also looking at the smoke fog lights, do they tend to look good?

Garurumon: Thanks! I dig those, might look into getting some when I can, will definatly post pics if I do.

Re: Project Opinions

I'd much rather get the good stuff, but sometimes its just a little out of the budget, trying to find some that kind of meet in the middle.

Thank you everyone for the input and ideas, I really appreciate it!

Re: Project Opinions

You already have my favorite mod... the 97/8 grill

Check out H and A accesories.com. All one word but I spread it out so it wouldn't look like a typo. Valve stem caps, window visors etc. They have genuine stuff. I got a real ashtray to replace the coin holder there.

Red calipers has been done a million times. Dark blue would look mah-velous on that car imo.
Maybe a silver 'dohc vtec' sticker on the trunk lid. Stealth mod. Majestic has those.

Oh and check out the sickspeed ebay store for cheap items like fender screws, shift nobs and license plate screws... I have the q ball shift ball in my car.

I did duplicolor on parts of the interior. One of a kind mod.

Btw, Henrico cops will hassle you over any under car lighting.

Grip tape pedal covers.

Find ya an H, set it on your grip tape, spray paint that sucka with krylon, cut to fit...

Get the V2 fogs, great reviews on them, V1 were crap.

EXT: 5th Gen V2 Fog Light Install WITH FACTORY PREWIRED HARNESS

$330 for fogs is insane, save your money and use it on another mod.

I did go with blue as you already saw lol, very happy with it, and thanks I'll check the other stuff out, dig the pedals. I know the cops around here suck but still fun to have just can't use them on main roads.
