Icon9 Leaking oil while running?!

Alright.. I replaced the oil pressure switch because that looked like the culprit. However, it is now leaking again. The thing that I'm curious about is that I think it started leaking after I got into VTEC. It didn't leak after it was fixed but I got the new exhaust put on, which sounds great, and I wanted to hear it when VTEC kicked in. I know the oil pressure goes up when that happens. So I'm not sure what is leaking or what I need to do. Answers, suggestions?

The car is not being driven until the leak is fixed.

Re: Leaking oil while running?!

Why do you think it's still leaking? Puddle? If so check your cam seal and/or oil cooler o-ring.
Cam seal you'll have oil at the distributor area. O-ring you'll have oil on the filter.

They say these motors typically use oil when in vtec mode.

Edit: other stuff may leak, but those are pretty common on the H22.

Yes, there is a puddle. I'm hoping to have it looked at today.

Re: Leaking oil while running?!

could be cam seal, distributor O ring, oil cooler o ring, rear main, valve cover gasket. you have to discover where the leak is coming from and go from there.

Re: Leaking oil while running?!

could be possible the oil pressure switch leaking again, happened to me. may also want to replace pcv valve after oil leak is fixed if it hasn't recently been replaced. other then that could be from a number of seals. need to get a generac location of leak first.
