5th generation prelude m/t short shifter frustraition

so after doing quite abit of reading, i think i'll avoid adapter style shift kits and go with a true short shifter. it came down to 3 names as far as i could tell;

1/4biddenmotorsports

2/pspec

3/lean.racing

then after even more reading, i learned the much praised 4bidden shifter was for 4th gens and there is none for the 5th. strike 1.

I then attempted to look for a pspec version. every link sent me to a page saying the domain was for sale. strike 2(?)

so feeling like this was turning into a hunt for the holy grail, i then searched for the leanracing version. then i see this;

All orders on hold until reopening. -jb

W-T-F??

can someone please point me in the right directon? this is getting ridiculous.

any help greatly appriciated.

Re: 5th generation prelude m/t short shifter frustraition

I have a JTC, its quality.

Good luck finding an install guide though, pspec took theirs down.

Also if you want to go really low you need to mod the plastic mounting bracket by notching it.

While you are doing that I would recomend getting an after market shift knob, boot (check out redline goods) and shayspec gate bushings http://www.shayspec.com/product/shay...-honda-prelude

Might as well while you are in there and everything is apart.

Re: 5th generation prelude m/t short shifter frustraition

I have one on my 5th gen and I'm happy with it. I ordered one for my 4th gen last week as well. Hopefully it gets here soon so I can get the interior of this car buttoned up once and for all.
