Re: well finally got the 5th gen back

130,000 miles. i was the guy that lost his timing belt at full clip.its got a jdm h22a out of the jap 96' prelude, the one with the closed deck but frm liners and a transmission that came from an accord sir. tried her out today on dry roads for the first time.seems like a much healthier motor that was in it at the time of purchase and the new to me tranny is smooth as silk, a far cry from the beat to death one that was in it. also installed a new clutch. other misecellanious things;

red stitched shifter boot/e-brake, type r shift knob, red emblems, ghetto seat covers for now, bem indiglo gauges , new windshield, fender, intake, set of halo projectors and paintjob.

these rims the spring with some low pro rubber and slotted and drilled rotors and im done ha.

Ouch about the timing belt (I had the same thing happen to me (though not at full speed) when my belt had only 60 000 miles on it...)

Nice to have the Lude back isn't it.

Re: well finally got the 5th gen back

in the near future, a jtc short shifter, rims , tires , slotted and drilled rotors and a set of red caliper covers. later in the summer maybe a set of hedders/exhaust, although im conflicted because i honestly do really enjoy the sound with the stock exhaust and the k and n intake.

just really want it good and reliable and hopefully look clean. im on my 3rd drivers liscense thanks to my previous two integras and my total lack of sense i had in my early twenties haha.

so basically, just small improvements to the looks and things to enhance the fun of driving it. its so quiet and sounds really healthy, so i dont feel the need to mess up a good thing too much. i can honestly say, this is my favorite car to drive ive ever owned.honda had it right with these, id take it anyday over my two dc2 integras i had.

ill never be at a track so to me, going balls deep in a power build is pretty much pointless for me in my area. just hoping to keep this thing a long time.

Re: well finally got the 5th gen back

and its pretty hillarious how much attention this thing has gotten despite it being winter and the original rims are abit chewed up. kids coming up to me at the gas station, other people with civics and integras love this thing. im pretty sure ive got one of 3 in my home town , a silver 5th gen not in the greatest shape and a riced out red 4th gen.

compartively, civics are about 40 to 1 or more and the teggys atleast 15 to 1. lude love coming from everywhere haha.
