fuel problem 97 prelude

I've got a 97 prelude and it's not getting power to the fuel pump...

I checked the fuses under the dash. They're good, but I'm not seeing power there either.

I tried jumping power directly from the battery to the pump, and the pump still wont run...

I'm not sure if it matters, but the fuel pump read just under 3 ohms.

Sound like the main relay?

I'm a Toyota 4x4 guy and this is my daily driver.

Do you hear the main relay click when you turn the key on standby? (all the way but not cranking)

Does your green key flash in the dash and then go out?

I'm pretty sure i hear the main relay click faintly.

when i turn the key on, the green key symbol stays solid for a few seconds and goes out... when i turn the key off, it flashes a few times then goes out.

Re: fuel problem 97 prelude

My multimeter says the ground is good. I also changed the main relay just to be sure.

I tried putting direct power and ground to the pump from a battery and the it still wouldn't run... got a few small bursts out of it.

My guess is that the pump is dead. I'll pull it out and put direct power to it outside the car and double check...

I still don't seem to be getting 12V to the pump though...
