Apexi WS2! (installed)

So i had originally ordered the Greddy Spectrum Elite cat-back from pwjdm but they called me that it was discontinued so i decided to switch to the Apexi WS2, and all i have to say is it's amazing! if you want an exhaust that sounds nice but won't get the negative attention on you then i most definitely recommend it! a lot of people say the piping hangs too low but, my shop was able to simply add new hangers and mount it on just right, when on idle you can't really hear it, when cruising it's a really nice humming sound, when you go WOT it's a nice deep loud not a raspy ricey loud. if you watch videos of it on youtube it might sound a bit loud but no where near that in person. Well just thought i'd let you guys know how it sounds, and how it sits. oh and it's so daaaaammm shiny lol Hope this helps out anyone who might be looking for a nice quiet exhaust! Later luders!

Re: Apexi WS2! (installed)

I've heard some pretty good things about Apexi. I once had a DunkMegaphone on my first prelude… looked ricer as all get out but it sounded amazing. Come to find out IF you can find them they are pricey as hell…. (haven't looked in a long long time)

It'll last forever, too -- I've had a WS2 on my car for about 15 years. On the 4th gen, at least, it hangs a bit lower than the stock pipe, but that's only annoying over speed bumps.

yeah I just got the WS2 and it hangs super low >_<
I should probably take it to a shop to have it fixed...
How much did it cost you to have your hangers fixed?

Sorry for the wait hadn't had time to check back in. but my exhaust shop actually did it all for $100 bucks since i had to but a flange from them cuz my old exhaust was custom and was welded onto the cat. i'm sure you can do it for a lot cheaper since all they have to do is cut the hangers and weld them up into a different position for the exhaust to hang up higher.

never heard of that exhaust sounds pretty cool tho! thats the down side to modified exhaust some police officers only focus on the look of it rather than it's sound

The Dunk was an Apexi exhaust that, if i'm not mistaken, came out far before the Greddy Evo2. I've compared my Evo2 muffler to it and they're pretty close in comparison. Only ever seen (1)...

Yea, they are Apexi and practically the same thing. I wouldn't spend the money on a Greddy now tho, just go with custom set up.

Agreed.

Evo2 has been out of production for a few years now. Whatever is on the shelf is it.

I ended up re-using my Evo2 muffler on my custom setup. Pretty happy with the outcome.
