Abs Light/Foglights Off :(

Sup my fellow Luders I hope your all doing well. I came across a few issues with my car and need some advice...

Heres the story, I finished work tonight and decided to snap a quick picture before the long drive home. After I took my pic I noticed my Abs light was on, So I parked the car turned her off for like 10 min and than turned her back on, The Abs light was still on Also my foglights stopped working (the button inside the car does not turn green and the lights wont turn on anymore)

Hopefully these aren't major problems so I can be happy again. Thanks to anyone that can help!

Here is the picture that I took.

Re: Abs Light/Foglights Off :(

Did you check your fuses? Sounds like a fuse to me.

All Gen. Prelude Service Manuals

There's an abs light thread here somewhere, but right now it escapes me...

Re: Abs Light/Foglights Off :(

yea something that happens kinda sparatic like that sounds like a fuse problem take bykfixer's advice and check out that manual it does wonders also try to find a haynes manual i have one and it has helped a lot with knowing what to check when your looking at certain areas of the car... for example.... belt squeal... i immediately checked the adjusting bolt and found the culprit.... i know not the same thing but the manuals point you in the right direction for those of us that are a little slow in the head lol

Re: Abs Light/Foglights Off :(

I know that the abs light is on in my car, but it is a problem with the way that the cap sits on the tank. When I tighten it down it shuts the light off and everything is fine. It is very sporadic on when it turns on, but that is the fix for me until I replace that piece.

Re: Abs Light/Foglights Off :(

Update: For some reason my abs fuse blew out (#9). I read some people put 25a fuse in the internal harness instead of the standard 15a. Is this safe to do? I took the car to a mechanic and there are no shorts and foglight installation is perfect. He suggested I buy a new harness. Can anyone tell me if I really need a new harness or if it's safe to run 25a fuse.

I searched all over the web and found these links but I'm still not sure what to do.

Re: Abs Light/Foglights Off :(

Did you replace the ABS fuse? When I wired up my JDM switch to my fogs I had two wires touch and blew a ABS fuse that caused my fogs to not work. Replaced the fuse and fogs worked again. I'm running a 30a fuse for my fogs with no issues.
