Icon5 Can't Find the Problem!!!

Hey all. My prelude is a 99 with an H22A4 motor. 207000 miles. The guy I bought it off of put a new fuel pump, new fuel filter, adjusted the valve clearance back to stock, rebuilt injectors with new O-rings, and new timing belt. After a few weeks of having it, I was getting a misfire on three cylinders. Turns out the battery in the car didn't have big enough cells. I put new plugs, wires, dizzy cap, rotor button, and new battery in. Ran great for about 25 miles then a misfire code on cylinders one and three popped up again. Ignition coil tested fine. Not sure what to do next? Clean EGR Valve and Channels? any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Can't Find the Problem!!!

Well the parts that I have already replaced were needed.. spark plugs were toast, wires were old, distributor and rotor button were in bad shape. The battery that was in the car when I bought it didn't hold enough charge to start the car when it was cold, and was actually the wrong battery for the car (not big enough cells). I don't plan on replacing any more parts unless absolutely needed. Hopefully cleaning the EGR and ports will fix the issue. Any other thoughts?

Re: Can't Find the Problem!!!

I had a similar misfire issue in cyliner 1 3 4. Replaced cap and rotor and plugs, but I also Used STP injector cleaner and used Lucas oil for the next oil change and Missfire went away.
