little help here

Ok so I bought a 5th gen for 750 knowing it has issue. The fender liner on the driver side is gone and the left cabin harness dropped and sat on the tire for who knows how long. A couple of the wire are pretty bad. I also see that they have been patched before . Now to the issues I'm having. I have no dash lights but cluster does work just no cel and things like that. I have no headlights except one passenger side main bulb works? Also no tail lights at all and no abs . How much is being caused by this issue? Thanks in advance...p.s Picture of Harness Attached. .......

Re: little help here

Purchase a new harness/missing parts from part outs or new from Majestic Honda - The Internet's #1 Honda Automotive Parts Store

pull the code for the CEL and fix the harness issue. Take the troubleshooting from there.

The harness actually controls your egr solenoid, headlight, turn signal, side marker light, fan relays, abs system, a/c compressor and washer pump.

The damaged wires could be repaired using solder, new wire and heat shrink - if you're experienced enough with it. Deff did a number on that harness though....

Re: little help here

+1 for ya wings.

Pft. Replace that sucker and use the old one for parts.

Prelude1897 may have one or try car-part.com for a junkyard score delivered to you.

I've found majestic prices are marvelous. But I check dealer prices and sometimes after majestic adds their s&h charge it's the same or less at the dealer. A sticker was $19. S&h was another $7. The dealer charged $26.

Re: little help here

Thanks for the help guys.... I replaced the harness and now have abs it idles smoother and I have full head lights. The car has a python security system that was botched On install and has quite a few wires pretty hacked up including the red coming off the combination switch. So I cleaned that up and got tail lights too. But when trying to start it the security system didn't want to allow it . Anybody know how to remove one properly? Would be greatly apreciated! Thanks again for the help thus far

Re: little help here

Once upon a time we couldn't figure out how to remove a botched alarm system that was intermingled throughout the car.
I pulled the inline fuse to the system. Problem solved.
