To sell or keep

have a 98 5spd manual with 94k on the dial. I love the car but i'm also looking to upgrade to the s2000. the car only needs bodywork because some girl ran into my bumper a few months back. i found a bumper and attached it. Car has a few minor rust spots at the wheel well and a ding in the front end from people hitting me in parking lots anyway, i have the money to take it to the bodyshop and get the full deal on a legit paintshop to get everything fixed and ride the lude til she blows? or should i sell the prelude as it is? car has been serviced properly for the 4 years that i've owned it. mobil 1 and premium gas has only been in this car. besides for the body the car runs strong and still has lots of life to it.

choices...

If its only got 98k on it you'll be drivin it a while before she blows buddy. Paint her up and make her look real purty like. I do love s2000's though... Hmmm

I'm always the final owner of any prelude I own.

I'd rather lose by a mile because I built my own car than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Keep. Of course!

But then again you're not asking the folks over at honda tech.... you're asking prelude enthusiasts.

Re: To sell or keep

Keep prelude and learn how to repair the body yourself, I Live in nj and could help you out, I work in auto body

Buy the s2k with the money you have for the legit body shop, because the damage you explained plus a full paint would run you a good 6k-7k done legitimately... And if you get it done as a side job by the painter and body man from a shop, drop the number about 2k for the same quality work.

Anyway dd the s2k while you fix the lude, then dd the lude while you build the s2k
