Right power window is stuck in the downward position

Hey guys,

Last night while I was driving my passenger put down the window and tried to put the window up a little later on only to find that it wouldn't go up again.

I'm trying to figure out if I have a break in a wire, a fuse, or the actual switch itself. I don't believe its a cut in the wire between the door and the relay as it happened while I was actually driving.

Does anyone know which pins on the harness going to the window switch make the window go up / down? Also, is there a separate fuse for the left / right side of the power window that isn't the main power window fuse in the main relay box?

Pretty much got flamed for driving like a jackass and was told to slow down. And I'll be damned, slowing down fixed it.

You sure you didn't accidentally hit the "window lock" button on the drivers-side??

I wish I could say that I've never done that before. I wish......

Hah! I freaked out for a minute because I didn't even check that. But unfortunately it wasn't. I can definitely see myself doing something of that caliber.

Looked up pins, attempted to manually connect the pins, and followed the wiring harness to no avail. Gonna shoot for the regulator since everything else checks out and manually crossing the pins didn't have any effect.

Re: Right power window is stuck in the downward position

Sometimes the motor fails. I've never worked on a prelude one, but on my Fords a gear made of junk metal would break. They were made to disintigrate if the regulator track got in a bind. Auto store replacement units came with a flexible plastic gear that lasted soooo much longer than the Ford unit for a lot less $.

I did that right after purchasing a 5th gen. I was like 'awe man I just bought this thing and it's already broke.'

I'd already cut the trash bag, and gotten the magnets out...

Then upon searching pz I saw you'd mentioned that switch to somebody.
