Driver side lock not working?

So I went to take a ride this morning, I tried unlocking my car with the remote... No luck, put the key in the driver side... No luck, go to passenger side, key in and the passenger side lock unlocks it.. Ok I get in, and the driver side lock is still locked. Neither the manual way of pulling it will unlock it, nor the switch or the remote will... What do I do? I just disconnected my battery, gonna wait 10 minutes or so to reconnect it. I can hear the mechanism moving in both door but with the key it won't unlock it at all.. Any ideas?

Re: Driver side lock not working?

Disconnecting the battery did nothing.. I'm lost, now its trying to unlock itself manually I'm not even touching the button and the sound is happening... What's wrong with it?

Re: Driver side lock not working?

Sounds like a sticking lock actuator.

Especially the part where it unlocks on its own. Because when you lock the door and the lock actuator sticks it doesn't fully engage and will somewhat trick itself into thinking it should unlock and so it does. I would take your lock actuator out clean it, regrease it. If that helps but doesn't do the trick than replace the actuator. Of course check fuses too.

By the way it will do the same symptoms with keeping it locked too.
