Missing trunk key-hole washer?

Hey, guys! I've been lurking around here again recently, and was looking at the 5th gen picture thread and noticed that everyone had something that I don't... A little washer or something around the key-hole on the trunk lid. I'll take a picture of my car tomorrow (it's 5 am here...). Does anyone know where I can find one/what it's part number is/what it's actually called? Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,
Jordan

Re: Missing trunk key-hole washer?

Try majestichonda.com / trunk or outer body panels. And it's probably a fairly inexpensive part your dealer can get.

Maybe with a plastic pick tool you can get one off a civic or accord at a local junkyard.

Re: Missing trunk key-hole washer?

I checked majestic, but they seem to only have the parts listed for the lock and the all that mechanism, they don't have the little washer around the key cylinder. I'll call my honda dealer next.

Honda had one! But it's $11 (ick...) We'll see if I can find one online.
For future reference to anyone who searches for this kind of thing the part number is: 04748-sl5-505zz

Re: Missing trunk key-hole washer?

Thanx for the part #.

Reason I suggested the dealer is majestic would be like $7.99 with $5 s&h.

Tell ya what... go to hondapartsnow.com and type in the part # in their search bar. Bam! A list of the cars that part fits. Then you go to a junkyard and find one. They may give it to ya. While there buy a battery tie down or something else you probably need.
