Hondata/Ecu Questions.

Ok so i'm looking into tuning my car 97 base, as far as i know i need the obd1 conversion harness and ecu. i found an obd1 p28 ecu with hondata s300 v2 installed for $649 on Importparts.com wondering if that's legit? never had experience with that website. If anyone has experience with all of this will you PLEASE give me some tips on what i need and all of that. i'm really new to all of this and i know many of you have knowledge on this so any help would be greatly appreciated. Or even let me know where you guys got your setup as well. One more thing, anyone know of any good tuners out here in So cal?

Re: Hondata/Ecu Questions.

If you are getting the ECU already with Hondata s300 installed that is not a bad deal. Up in Canada I recently bought the S300, and it was $500. So with a p28 ECU that is not a bad deal, and saves you the headache of soldering and all that.

How reputable is the site. No idea. Maybe check what their return policy is.

The only other thing you will need is a laptop, with windowsXP or higher.

Thanks for the info and the tip. Yeah that's what I'll be doing just to make sure it's legit (:
