why why why

why is my cars dyno numbers so low? h23vtec dyno'd 186 on a dyno dynamics dyno.
bottom end is stock. head has skunk2 tuner2 cams. I have aem intake, s2 70mm tb and 70mm intake manifold, dc header, adjustable cam gears 310cc rc injectors, bdl fuel rail, fuel pressure regulator, and fuel gauge. chipped p28. This is killing me will someone please give me some advice. I feel like there is something wrong with these numbers. They seem so low I was expecting at least 200. Does anyone else have this motor that they've dyno'd? Stock or built.

Re: why why why

-310cc is basically stock. Preludes run rich so all the fuel delivery you paid for isn't doing anything.

-DC header is fancy looking stock molds. Gotta go Hytec replica or Vibrant header for breathing. The exhaust piping has to be 3" all the way through too.

-The TB doesn't do much without a wider intake manifold runners, port and polish.

Fix these areas, then get another tune with those areas corrected, and get a better response, but don't count on 200whp.

Re: why why why

Could be a lost in the transmission too, i recently went to a HEAVY clutch fly wheel for durability, but it eats up hp.

Re: why why why

thanks for all the replies guys. Does anyone know if it is even possible to get over 200 without messing with the block? I just feel so jipped, I had done all kinds of research and still only end up with 186hp. the header though i bought like 3 years ago before i cared about performance and i just swapped it over to the new motor. I probably will get a hytech rep or vibrant after i replenish the bank account. But i got pretty butt hurt when all was said and done. also I removed the balance shaft pulleys but left the balance shafts in. will this mess anything up?

Re: why why why

when you say chipped p28, is it a tunable ecu? if you don't have an ecu that can be tuned your mods are pointless

It's possible with the correct mods and tuning. What tuning software are you using and who tuned it? As said before get a better header, downpipe, and bigger exhaust. Also look into getting a Rosko EuroR Intake Manifold as those are proven to make more power on N/A setups than stock or Skunk2. Also, did you do a compression check on your stock block? Everything looking good?

H22's don't react to mods like B-Series motors do. It takes a little more finessing and a little more research/thought when choosing the right combination of parts.

It's required if you need to pass an obd2 test for inspection like I do.
