Sad Experience ):

I was riding along with my dad in his ford explorer we were at a complete stop and there was a prelude behind us stopped as well, when all we hear is brakes locking sadly a dodge ram hit the prelude and pushed him into us ); my dads truck got no damage but man that lude got completely wrecked, complete front frame damage, it really sucked to see another prelude like that just thought i'd share my experience really sucks that even when it's not your fault you get the worst of it all/

Re: Sad Experience ):

Ram drivers are the worst of the pick up truck drivers I find.

From what I see/hear the Cummins equipped diesel ones are slow as balls, don't have to worry about them other than nasty fumes and black smoke when they get up and go...its the ones with the Hemi that tend to get their douchebag on and ram everyone up the arse.

Last winter a traffic jam here was caused by a red Ram speeding past everybody like they were standing still and a few minutes later a traffic jam occurs and buddy in the same red Ram had spun and was facing everyone he passed. How embarrassing.

Re: Sad Experience ):

SUV's/PICKUPS are a menace.

They've put a majority of my cars into an early grave. Sidesteps, pushbars, rear hitch steps.

All to "protect the owners investment", while fugging yours up. I will not lie about owning one of these behemoths, but it's because NYC is merciless and unforgiving to any vehicle that isn't one. I don't have front or rear guards and the side steps are minimal.

Someone rear ended my suburban at 40mph, their car was a total loss. Mine was just fine.
I don't feel empowered now, or satisfied about what went down, I am however relieved I was not hurt and I don't have to go search for another ride and rebuild all over again.

Some "Drivers" just get the biggest things and act like an hole, I bought one to cut down on the beating my car was getting. All that road bully shet has to come to an end.

At least for the sake of preludes

^^^ it's one thing if the truck is ACTUALLY a workhorse vehicle, but if it looks like it belongs on the cover of SOURCE.... No. For example...

Sadly I have to drive a lot of pick ups and find the current V8 Rams are pretty damn fast...same with the V8 and Ecoboost (turbo V6) F-150. F-350 turbo diesel is one fcuking fast truck, probably fastest out the box.

Fast yes...but they handle just awful...I HATE driving them. Put-foot-down and go fast is cool but uninspiring if every corner you take the thing feels like its going to roll over.
