Tps sensor on tb or in distributor

Hey guys I have a code 7 and trying to fix it. Car runs ok, it is obd1 with an h23 distributor but not sure if the tps is suppose to run to the distributor or back of throttle body. because at the moment nothing is plugged into the tps sensor on the back of the throttle body. I look at distributors but only found stuff online saying that it is not in there. just need some confirmation.

Re: Tps sensor on tb or in distributor

TPS=Throttle Position Sensor, one every car I have ever worked on, it is always on the throttle body. It tells the computer the position of the butterfly valve. It is not any part of the dizzy.
