Re: Full Tune Up??

You really don't need a new distrubtor unless you having issues with the one you have now. Also replace the Distrubtor cap and rotor. If you want to replace other old stuff you can check your powersteering and alternator belts if they are cracked then replace them. Coolant flush, powersteering flush, new MTF, oil change. Other maintence stuff such as checking your rack and pinion boots and axle boots to make sure they aren't torn.

Re: Full Tune Up??

Might as well return that cold air intake and just get yourself a K&N drop in filter instead. $200 cheaper and nets you a bigger gain.

Re: Full Tune Up??

Don't forget to adjust your valve lashes to spec. I had multiple random misfire CEL and noticed that the clearances became off spec over time. CEL was gone after the adjustment.

This might help ya ^^ answer a question or two.

It also mentions the $2 pcv.
The K&N filter is washable btw.

Re: Full Tune Up??

No motor flush? To be honest, check the cam assembly hrough the oil cap, using a flashlight, and see if there is any gunk buildup, then use MMO every time you are 200 miles away from the change, drain and use new oil.

This is a strech though, as far as tune ups are concerned
