Hey guys. I have been trying to surf the web to figure out what I am actually needing to get my prelude h22a swap back up and running without going into limp mode (3500) I am sure that one of the problems is the mount for the distributor was swapped since the orginal broke on it. I plan on switching it to the original since it does not appear to have cracked near the base just the front distributor mount hole. However I believe I am also needing to get a different distributor since when I tested mine it was at .8v and I believe it should only be at .5v with what I have been reading. Another thing that kinda baffles me is that it is an SH body. Never had an SH before and hardly ever see any with h22a motors in them, but I have heard they were more of a problem child. and help would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to get this all done so I can get back to have 2 cars and me and my wife don't have to waste gas taking each other to work and picking each other up. I have pictures of the ECU I have also. Also the car now has 3 codes after swapping the part. low oil pressure vtec, tps, and something else. but when i check it earlier today the only code I got was 20. and from what i understand for the p72 is an electrical load detector. not sure how accurate that is. Also realized that my fuse for stop/horn keeps blowing not sure what that is all about so I will be also taking a look at the electrical behind that. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Would really like some help with this.

Re: Beating a Dead Horse (pics)

to swap in a h22a into an SH body, you'll need the motor, tranny, and axles to where you're basically swapping it to be a base model. As for having the motor work and still keep it obd2, you'll need to swap injectors, oil pump for crank sensors, dizzy, and IM unless if you're running an aftermarket manifold. You'll be keeping your original motor harness since all the plugs will plug up for the ECU to read everything correctly
