Where can I find oem mud flaps and grille?

I'm looking for all 4 oem mud flaps and grille with prelude logo. I've tried Honda, eBay, Craigslist, autozone, ect. All for a 98 prelude type sh. If anyone can point me to the right dirrection that will be great. Pm me if you have any of these parts. Btw did 98 preludes sh come stock with rear wheel wel splash guards? ( not the flaps, the rubber part under and above the rear wheel). Mine has them on the front but not on the rear, and it seems like there's no where to mount the rear mud flaps. Thanks in advance

re: Where can I find oem mud flaps and grille?

I've never seen mud flaps. Just mud guards on the SH. Grille with logo are getting hard to find.
The po may have removed the splash guards.

Try hondapartsnow.com for new parts and car-parts.com for some used parts.

re: Where can I find oem mud flaps and grille?

I always have called them mudflaps lol. Mud guards are the correct name though.
I got my mudflaps brand new all four with hardware at hondapartsworld.com.

Prelude Splash Guards (Set of 4) 97-01

And no our cars don't come with those fender liners you see in the front. Look at your bumper and you will see 2 black dimples, thats where you will mount them. They come with instructions.

I thought they were the same thing. I'm looking for the guards that go behind the wheel to give it a more stock look. Yeah that's what I was thinking that the previous owner remover the wheel well splash guards because the back side under the wheel just looks empty. But I may be wrong Cus the person under me says that these cars didn't have the splash guards in the rear

Thanks for the info. So the back is just empty under there? Yeah I see the two dimples and what seems to be a black rubber button in that area. I'll check out that source but I will mostlikely look for some used ones, so i will need my own hardware. Do you know what hardware is best to use for mounting that i can grab at the store? I just bought me the oem grill so I'm just looking for the mud guards now and mounting hardware. I just checked out that source and I don't believe those are oem for a 98 sh. They won't fit with a lip or skirt and I have the stock sh lip in the rear bumper

Re: Where can I find oem mud flaps and grille?

Just remove one of the screws from your front fender liner and thats the screw you will need to use for the rear, take it to a hardware store and buy 4 more.
And lucky? Those floor mats cost 260 bucks lol with shipping Im pretty sure your looking at 300. No one in their right mind would spent that much on floor mats.

Re: Where can I find oem mud flaps and grille?

that honeycomb grille with the prelude emblem is hard to find and when found its expensive. I found mine on craigslist the guy was late to the exchange so he sold it to me for $80 really generous guy. best bet would probably be the junk yard, craigslist(not likely to find) and mud flaps pretty hard to find as well.

I just posted a link of the mudflaps brand new oem. I don't understand why people think they are hard to find. The grill on the other hand is harder to find.

Simple just wash it down get some sand paper, sand it down nice and just re-spray it with a spray can from your local hardware store. most common is black, it also looks really good in grey

Re: Where can I find oem mud flaps and grille?

They are OEM. It's a honda part seller they don't sell aftermarket stuff. They even sell them on Majestichonda.com for the same price. They aren't rare or hard to find.

Honda Automotive Parts
Majestic link. ^^
Click accessories (outer). They have them but they are a lot less at the other link 01 posted.
They're called 'splash guards'.
Floor mats still listed at numerous places but they are usually out of stock.

Glad you found a grille.

They come out to the same price when shipping is added to it. I think the majestic is 2 dollars more but I can't remember correctly. The floor mats are crazy expensive, I think 250ish.

On Honda Part World, it says the splash guards do not fit with the Type SH lip kit. What seperates the SH lip from an optional "OEM" lip kit?

The SH kit is just painted sides/rear of the textured black lipkit found on your typical everyday Prelude.

The splash guards WILL fit your everyday SH painted kit or base kit.

It will NOT fit an optional lipkit due to the size of the kit.

So explain like i'm 5:
they aren't compatible with these side skirts, and this lip, right?

...ok...

That is correct.

but it's easier if I say:

They are ONLY compatible with the kit that comes on EVERY 5th gen made.
