Re: 98 prelude Coil overs

Search man. I'm running Megan EZ coilover set up. It was around $700 i think, idk if that's a decent price for you or not, I would recommend them, I drive them daily and love em.

Some people will say go Konyi yellow shocks with Ground control coilovers, that's another popular one because its Fukn great. I'm not gonna say a price because I really do not know and don't want to scare you. Just do your research

Function form type 1 is also a popular one though I don't know if they make them for the SH

Re: 98 prelude Coil overs

Expect to pay about ~$900-1200 for a Koni/GC setup, depending on if you can find stuff on sale, etc. Well worth every penny though.

If they make them for the SH, I'd recommend f&f type 1s if you're on a budget. I dd mine and i have zero complaints

Re: 98 prelude Coil overs

Im on Function & Form type 2 they are pretty stiff and have adjustable damping. Got mine for $690 new(sale though). My friend got his recently for $770.
They go pretty low and feel great. I use mine as a daily driver.

I paid 1,000 for both the ground control coil springs and the koni yellow struts and I like them but haven't had any other setup to compare it with

Re: 98 prelude Coil overs

Koni Yellows are widely accepted as a great choice across many platforms. I had them on my Stealth and loved them. Great performance and great ride.

ALL 4th and 5th gen full coilover setups are compatible. SH or not. You only have to worry about SH specific when ordering OEM replacement springs or dampers.

Re: 98 prelude Coil overs

Yeah you don't need to try to find coilovers specific for the type sh because they are all the same. I have skunk2 sleeves with kyb agx shocks and I like em. Wouldn't mind a set of FFT1's though

Re: 98 prelude Coil overs

I feel the same way about Megan as I feel about DC (when it comes to our chassis at least). They might make decent stuff for other chassis, but the products they make for our cars are inferior to most others.
