Noob LED Plate Light Question

Hi everyone,

So I currently have a 6 or 8 piece LED SMD for my license plate light and unfortunately for our cars, we only have one light output for our plate lights, so the one that I'm using isn't very bright. I was wondering if anyone has experience with super bright 194 LED bulbs that will fit into the original housing in our cars?

I've looked over the typical sites that have gotten good reviews for LEDs but they're all based in the USA and I'm in Canada. I'm looking for a cheaper alternative without getting owned with shipping costs lol

Basically what I have now: 2X White 8-SMD T10 LED License Plate Lights Bulbs 184 192 168 194 657 908 #H15B | eBay

Saw a couple of these: 194/501/T10/W5W bulbs
and: $6.07 1 Pair 3+1 LED Mini Bright Car Lamp Light Bulb 12V - BudgetGadgets.com

Anyone know if the 2 above are bright or have experience with them?

I have also considered removing the stock housing and sticking like a 24 LED plate on there or something but the nails on my current housing are seized (yay Canada and all the salt).

Anyone have any other suggestions/affordable alternatives for us Canadian folk? I pretty much wanna light up the floor, I guess lol. It's really difficult to tell what kinda light output will be offered from just pics off ebay... :/ thanks!

Re: Noob LED Plate Light Question

T10 led bulbs have an ultra bright version too, instead of the ones with the one big bulb it looks like 4 smaller ones clustered together, they're bright for sure, put blue ones in my gauges and my number plate lights and they definitely light up the floor

Re: Noob LED Plate Light Question

I bought some from Superbrightleds.com and they are good quality have lasted for over a year now. I've ordered a ton off ebay and they go out within months.

Re: Noob LED Plate Light Question

I have no doubt that superbrightleds provide superior quality, but it's like $10 to ship to Canada lol. It's also difficult to tell how bright the LEDs are just based off online pictures, especially from eBay, as most sellers are from China. If my housing wasn't seized up, I would just stick like a 24 piece LED board there or something ghetto lol

Also, this guy sells leds for every light on your prelude besides just the interior lights:
