Just bought a 1997 Prelude

I have a '83 Lude, but it is on it's last leg, and I cannot justify the money to fix it. Instead I went and spent about the same amount of money on a '97.

Glad to hear you married up in preludes. The 83 is cool and all but the 5th was a magnumopus for sure.

Re: Just bought a 1997 Prelude

DO you plan on doing anything to it or leaving it stock?

Nice upgrade. I had an '88 Lude before getting my '97 new.

I currently have some new headlights and tail lights that I am going to be installing in a couple days, and I also have new wheels that will be put on it the same day. After that I need to get it painted and have the rust spots on the rear quarterpanels taken care of (not sure yet if I will have to replace the whole thing or not). Once all of that is done I will begin to weigh my options for other upgrades.

I will think about it. I have a lot of work that I need to do to the exterior and then cleaning up the engine will be the next task that I will take on. The interior is pretty clean so at least I will put that on the back burner for now.

Re: Just bought a 1997 Prelude

Here are some updated pictures on my Lude. A long way to go with the defects in the body, but overall it is a much cleaner look.

Re: Just bought a 1997 Prelude

I hate to say it but I am not sure. I have had them for a while now without posting it up and I have forgotten. I am pretty sure that they are Spyder.

Re: Just bought a 1997 Prelude

The halos are not as bright as I would like them to be. I did wire them myself though and they might need more power. Once my truck is running again I will take a closer look at them.
