It's gonna depend on how much camber and the tire sizes you wanna run.

Re: 98 prelude with 05 TL A-Spec rims

They should literally bolt right on, and they shouldn't rub much if any. I was slammed on some AP1s and they didn't rub.

Not a good comparison at all. 16x7.5"s vs 18x8's

Correct. Run 215's or 205's. 225's will rub (from experience) on Race springs. I had Neuspeed race setup. They're pretty low. You might notice a bit of stretch. Not sure if it's a lot but nothing horrible.

Re: 98 prelude with 05 TL A-Spec rims

Just got the suspension done, which is kyb agx, with neuspeed race springs(yellow). The tires that are on are a 225/40/18, and they rub slightly. I am ready to order my tires for the tl wheels. They are 18/8" with a 45 offset. I m guessing a 215/40 would be good? Any feedback would be great, cause I'm ready to order!!

Re: 98 prelude with 05 TL A-Spec rims

I called to order tires and they said that the load rate on te 215/35/18 was not high enough. I am stumped whether to get the 215/35 or the 215/40..
