Icon10 Prelude type SH 98

How much would you pay for a 98 type SH in perfect conditions? projector headlamps, HID kit, custom carbon fiber dash board, pionner cd unit, sony door speakers, 2 enclosed subwoofers(500rms e/a), 1500 watt monoblock amp(stable at 1 ohm), interior blue leds, custom blue dash light, AEM Intake, the problem is, it does not have engine :| but the tranny its OK :D

$2700 obo

Re: Prelude type SH 98

All the lights/subs add zero value to the car, so you don't have to include that in your figures.

If the body is in good shape I wouldn't pay more than $1500. That leaves you with $1000 for a motor drop, which isn't that bad. I've seen nice 97, 98's, 99's go for $2500. It all basically depends if you have the skills to get/drop in a motor for a good price

Re: Prelude type SH 98

suffering subwoofers batman! stable at 1 ohm?! wow. that's some kinda grounding there gracie ;+) got concrete in the panels to stop all that rattling?

if you like those headlights, late 90's blue lighted interior and can install a motor, go for it.
say you bought a totally stock sh. would you over time do all those mods?
if so figure about how much it would cost you to do all that mod-ing, divide in half, add $1500 for the shell and call it a day.

Re: Prelude type SH 98

With a list of mods like you named and the fact the motor is gone. Id assume that the previous owner beat on it something awful. You know, cuz racecar.

Yuuup! $1,800 ran perfect until the radiator cracked, overheated and blew the head-gasket, but thats my fault lol. $2,700 is WAY too much for a car with no engine, if you get him down to $1,500 get it. Tell him to take off the projectors, take the amp out, take the transmission, and take the other ****ty crap out so he can sell it. Then you buy the shell for $1,000, do a JDM H22A swap with an LSD transmission and get rid of that ATTS.
