Icon5 SH model ATTS problems

Sup guys?
Quick question on the ATTS for those that are familiar with it and or own a SH. One of my oil pressure sensors on the ATTS unit recently broke, causing a solid yellow ATTS light on my dash. Which im guessing means the whole unit is disabled at the moment.. My main question is, with this being the case, would it cause my prelude overall to run like crap? Or should I not really be able to notice unless i'm doing a lot of cornering etc? I have a few problems going on with my car at the moment, so im trying to figure out how huge of a roll this has as far as overall issues to the car. Also do you have any recommended sites for buying the oil pressure sensor? i've been searching for part outs without any luck. So I'm having to result in buying one online.

Thanks in advance,
Gen5

Re: SH model ATTS problems

i dont notice when my ATTS shuts itself off. it shuts it self off to prevent damage to the system.. shouldn't make the car run like crap. do you know what code/codes the atts unit is throwing?

Re: SH model ATTS problems

As far as the codes go i'm not sure. I know for sure that the oil pressure sensor is broken, since the person that was working on my car showed it to me. So i'm guessing once the new one is thrown in, the solid ATTS light will go away and there won't be any codes to read after that

Re: SH model ATTS problems

you need to google how to read the ATTS unit codes, its really easy. dont just randomly guess its gonna make it go away.

Re: SH model ATTS problems

Cool thank, I found a link with how to read the codes, i'll have to check that out in the morning. My main concern was finding out if it would be really noticeable not having the ATTS active while driving.

Re: SH model ATTS problems

Go to a shop and have them scan your whole car...
My ATTS is acting up as well... I got a full list of what is wrong with it.

I don't think anyone here is necessarily interested in one, but if so, I have an ATTS unit for sale - $75 + shipping. PM me for details.

What part of So Cal are you in?
I live in Northern SD and take my car to different places depending on the issue.

Try sayin' that fast 3 times... backwards... when drunk.

My atts is unhooked. Light removed on dash board too. You can't tell it ever had one.
