Re: vtec issue

It could be a number of things. I would say start with the basic and do a tune up. Wires, cap rotor, plugs, fuel filter throw some fuel injector cleaner in there. I had the same problem but it ended up being my TPS sensor. Is you CEL on?

Re: vtec issue

why do you ask your engine to kick into max mode and you haven't bothered to make sure you have enough oil in there? jiminy cricket!!! there's a reason the car flutters when you over rev the motor without enough oil. it's so that it won't self destruct.

top off the oil and unplug your battery for 10-15 min to reset the computer. maybe the computer will forgive you and forget that you tried to kill your motor.

Re: vtec issue

^^agreed

I had the same problem.
Checked oil and it was low.
Oil change and reset ecu.
Dont do it by unplugging your radio
Tho... just unplug clock/radio 7.5
Amp fuse for about a minute. Then
You should be good :)
