no you should not. that is pure ebay crap. will definitely sound like sh*t and will probably get you pulled over. will also probably rust out within a year

Re: Im about to buy this Cat-back, Should I PZ?

dont get ebay exhaust. i was thinking of getting a cheap axle back exhaust, but i was looking at the flowmaster 60 series: FLOWMASTER® - Honda Prelude 1997-2001 American Thunder™ Axle-Back Exhaust System - Single Rear Exit

the ebay exhaust will just sound ricey. im not really sure what your looking for. i personally prefer just better sound, but not obnoxiously loud. which is why i was looking at this axle back exhaust.

Mmmm....no that stuff is cheapo.

The muffler is cheap and garbage, that's the most important part to get a good sound.

Re: Im about to buy this Cat-back, Should I PZ?

Any way I can sway you to go silent? The ebay only sounds good if you keep the rest of the exhaust=no benefit.

Go custom, vibrant or apexi. If you look into 5ziegen exhausts, they sound sexy

You tube has plenty of examples. When I was itching to purchase a RSX Type-s in desert silver metallic, I heard good stuff about these guys. Don't know if it holds true anymore

I've got the Flowmaster Series 60 on my Lude, and I love it. It's not too loud, but it's very noticeable. That video sounds a good bit different than mine though. I've got a clip of my exhaust I can put up if you're interested.

Re: Im about to buy this Cat-back, Should I PZ?

I bought a similar eBay one since my exhaust rusted into two pieces and I needed a cheap/quick solution. Honestly, it's not AS bad as people make it sound. It's stainless steel so it won't rust out like the stock one, the worst thing about it is the muffler. Mine also came with a pretty heft dent in the muffler.. But whatever, I had to drive to get back to work.

I'm looking into getting a new axle-back soon, the resonator and middle piece can stay until they rust. Then I'll worry about it.

Yeah i got the same one. sounds okay but not like the 700 or 800 ones but i didn't have that much to drop on just an exhaust. works fine for me.

Re: Im about to buy this Cat-back, Should I PZ?

buy it, see if a magnet sticks to it, if it does, then return it and say its not stainless steal, if it doesnt, then good enough of a deal i guess.... look up videos, if it sounds how you want it to, then get it, but the cheap stuff will rust faster, especially if you are in a beach area

usually you get what you pay for. go custom and put a few $ in a local exhaust guys pocket at the same time.
