help with stock spoiler

So I traded trunk lids for one with a stock spoiler and it has a brake light in it. How do I go about making that light work?

Re: help with stock spoiler

If it's the optional spoiler for a base model, there is a wire harness (see instructions below) to connect it to the third brakelight harness (after unplugging it from the third brake lamp). If the deck lid you got came off of an SH, the plug is different, so you may have cut and solder the wires.

Re: help with stock spoiler

Check the wiring and parts placement diagrams in the manual for both the base and SH models.

Re: help with stock spoiler

The harness should be in your car, it's only attached to the lid if your model had it from the production. Did you take off your stock lid?
