Stalls in neutral/ TDC sensor/limp

Hey guys, after searching the Internet for two days I've decided to post my problem. One morning I was driving and came to a stop and it stalled out on me. Then it took a while to start back up almost like I have a fuel problem. And as I started driving, I learned that my car wouldn't go past 3k rpm. So my car stalls out when I'm stopped, my idle is a low 700 and it's tough to start. My CEL isn't on but I scanned it and the only thing that popped up was p1361 top dead center sensor intermittent. Any ideas?

Yeah you gotta replace that sensor or check atleast that it isn't covered in oil. if you don't fix it now it will get worse. i know because it happened to me. Don't buy a off brand sensor either. it will fail alot sooner than the oem one.

What were your symptoms? And I'm trying to go through the wiring right now to see if it actually is the sensor but having some problems locating it

Re: Stalls in neutral/ TDC sensor/limp

Well my friend and I started to do research about it and we were trying to get to the sensor without pulling anything out. My small hands got to it put couldn't unplug it to test the voltage. We kept trying and called it a day. When I went to start it to go home, it worked perfectly so I'm guessing it was t seated right and us trying to unplug it fixed it. But I read your threads and if it comes back up ill replace it. Thank you for all the information though!
