Help on some vibrating interior panels I cannot find.

First off I've searched and couldn't find any answers.
I've been gettng some vibrating from my dash, it sounds like it's on the passenger side. I've tried pressing on the dash when I hear it but doesn't go away. It's not the glove box as when I press it the sound is still there. I know how much a pain it is to take apart a dash so I'd prefer to try and have a list of things that it could be before I think about taking it apart. But what's weird is at higher rpms usaully when I hit VTEC the rattle gets louder and sounds like the entire dash is vibrating. I also I have a crap automatic tranny and have noticed when I let off the brakes and the car slowly moves forward the vibrating comes up but goes away if I completly brake or start to acclerate.

Second my sunroof vibrates. Though it doesn't vibrate when it's open like everyone elses sunroof. Mine only vibrates when it's closed and not at all when it's open. The rattle goes away when I push up the sunroof with my hand. but once let go it vibrates pretty loud. I've tried looking at the rails but can't find what's causing the rattle. I always have my sunroof propped open anyways but when it rains it bugs the crap out of me.

Sorry for the long post just need to fix this before I go insane

For the first noise you hear, you can try to check where the front pilar comes in contact with the dash. The two of them can be rubbing together and causing the vibration.

Pretty much got flamed for driving like a jackass and was told to slow down. And I'll be damned, slowing down fixed it.

Thanks I'm going to check that out later. And lol that's what my dad says but sometimes I can hear it over the music. I might have to check all I have is a rag in my glove box but an ashtray full of change

ahaha if you can hear it over the music then its sime for some subs and amps! lol on a more serious note, it could be your HVAC tubing, mine came loose in my old truck and it drove me insane with the rattles and took me forever to figure it out... have no clue about the sun roof though...

good luck.

Re: Help on some vibrating interior panels I cannot find.

Are you positive the noise is from within the cabin? You could have a broken motor mount, or something on the firewall within the engine bay rattling. Maybe even your tophat or something suspension related.

Check the bracket under the glovebox - that bolts the glovebox to the dash. Has your ECU ever been removed? Check if it's loose. Is your heat or a/c on when the noise occurs? Could have something in your blower fan.
