Icon8 im losing my mind

ok .. so about two weeks ago i installed a air/fuel gauge .. using the power from the cig lighter grounded to the negative battery terminal and tapped into the 02 sensor wire on the ecu.. (the all white one) everything worked fine until yesterday when i started my car the horn kept beeping!!! and the locks unlocked over and over ... i turned it off started it... same thing .... disconnected the battery ... same thing... so i went over all my wires .. nothing ...i checked the connection into the ecu and its ok.... started it again and no horn.... until i rev it up!!!!! wtf i have to pull the horn fuse to make it stop ,.... but the battery and brake light come on too when being reved any help.....

The gauge you installed is called a wideband. Not sure why you would be tapping into an existing o2 sensor when you're better off just getting a separate one for the unit itself.

Disconnect everything you hooked up and see if the issue continues. You could have tapped into the wrong wire somewhere or not re-secured a ground at some point. Or another issue is brewing within your electrical systems :)

I replaced the alternator and problem solved
