Ground Control coilovers - im elated and dont know how to make a thread title

yeah! Just ordered some Ground Control sleeves for the lude. :) I went with a spring rating of 440 and 350. I'll be using(most likely) 440 for the rear.
For now I'll just be impatiently waiting for there arrival -_- and then in a month I'll be ordering Koni's Yellows and installing them as soon as finals are over.

Just thought I would share my happiness with you guys. PS that's my early Christmas present for myself.

Since Christmas is coming up what are you guys hoping to get or getting yourselves?

Nice set up. I was looking to get this combo too, but picked up a set of BC Racing coilovers instead.

Re: Ground Control coilovers - im elated and dont know how to make a thread title

Alright guys so after having constant issues with ordering my Koni struts I finally got them and installed them Looked at the instructions and I did it right I believe. ONLY problem is that when I dropped the car down the metal dust boot in the front scratched the **** out of the Ground control driver side sleeve. :( but thread is fine and is above where I would adjust anyway. I didn't have to cut the bump stops because I used Energy Suspension bushings for the front and rear. Am I suppose to cut the metal boot or what exactly? Did some research but I'm confused on what do now. Can someone please me a solution to my problem since I want to get everything fixed and working proper before I get my car aligned and get the ride height to what I decide to
choose.
Also the rear sleeves appear to be fine since the rear metal dust boot appears to a lot shorter then the front but do the dust boots need to be modified as well?

Re: Ground Control coilovers - im elated and dont know how to make a thread title

NTPOG Koni and Ground Control Review Found this but a bit confused still. Basically cut the metal dust boot for the front but not sure exactly how much and what about the rear dust boot? No need for it? Also, the rubber insulator that came with the GC's for the front should be used with the original ones in the top hat? Please elaborate if you know for what exactly. Thanks guys really want to get this fixed RIGHT before I have to take everything apart AGAIN.

Make a separate thread and it will get more exposure because the title of this thread is throwing off the response you're looking for.
