Re: GC coilovers and Koni yellows

it's all personal preference, man. if it's your dd, I wouldn't say slam it, but there are luders that dd their slammed ludes. it's just not as practical, but looks damn good. you should be safe with 1.5", but if you do go lower, turn your the wheel all the way to right and left and measure the gap between. This will ensure slim to no chance of rubbing. and make sure you get an alignment shortly after install or there's a good chance your tires will wear prematurely. hope this helps

What is your rim/tire size? I would get rid of the gap and leave it at that for a DD. BTW Koni/GC set up is the way to go!! good luck and you will enjoy!!!

Im running stock rims for now. And I read nothing but good stuff about GC on here thats really what made up my mind. The main thing im worried about is my driveway is rather steep and getting in and out might become impossible

well then dont slam it where you need to worry about that. i have the same setup and even with 2 inch drop you should be fine just find the right stiffness setting and it will be nice..i have mine at the stiffest and love it

Is the ride quality really good on the gc/koni combo? I'm looking for a 2in. Drop all around & its my dd also. I'm looking at this setup & the h&r race springs. Please let me know ur experience with the setup. Thanks.

yes it is very good, don't expect it to ride like a luxury auto because you are putting stiffer springs on, but the ride is superior to most other drop springs that I have ridden on.

Re: GC coilovers and Koni yellows

You have to order separate and each from their own website if you want the lifetime warranty, which is one of the only reasons I would get this set up in the first place.
