front lower arm need help!

Hey guys a few days ago I hydroplaned into a curb going about 23mph and bent the lower control arm. Managed to get it home with minor tire damage. So I've been looking around for a replacement arm but they all look different than the one on my car. I have the 99 SH model with manual trans and all the arms i seem to find are for the base model. Ive been told they were compatable but am not certain, can anyone verify this for me?

Ill post a pic of what it looks like. Basically the ones i find online have some extra holes for im not sure what or if im looking at it wrong. Its my daily so i need it back on the road asap.

Re: front lower arm need help!

Yeah I had some trouble in doing such, so I called up a local honda dealership (princeton, nj) to get the parts number. The parts tech "matthew" was Extremely helpful. I just bought the correct control arm and a new swaybar link. With a little push from some fine 2day express shipping I should have the car back on the road in no time!!
It's been just under a week since the unfortunate incident and I'm missing driving this fine machine more and more with each passing day!!

Thanks for taking the time to read my thread and give a helping had!

Re: front lower arm need help!

Thats because you're lower controle arm if bent "allot"! I crashed my 2000 Honda Prelude SH about a year ago which I had to replace the whole suspention. You're gonna need a new lower controle arm and brobably a new sway bar linkage, I'd have to personally see it to tell if anything else is wrong. When it comes to the SH suspention compared to the SE/base the only differences would be in the rear of the suspention do to the all wheel steering. However to be on the safe side make sure that when you buy any part that they are for the SH moddell, which I did.
