broken...

So i changed my oil today and while i was at the shop i figured i would try to tighten my belts because my car squeels on start up and when its cold out... so i went to tighten the top belt first and right after i gave a little pressure the bolt head snapped off but the rest of the bolt is still in place and it didnt lose any tension or anything... is this safe to drive on, it may seem like a stupid question but i really dont know, thanks everyone

i'd say grind a flat spot on either side of it and use an adjustable wrench to turn it..might work for awhile

while you're there can you check for a prelude emblem for the trunk and the knob to adjust min/hour in a 4th gen? :)

Re: broken...

Don't tighten belts just for the sake of tightening them. If they are too tight they can wear prematurely, break pulleys, or even bend your crankshaft.
