im planning on installing a viper 350 alarm system on my car but im not going to start until i know exactlly what i need to do.
so my first problem is knowing how much amperage the parking light system draws?
if anyone has any experince with installing alarm system any advice would be great
thanks in advance

Re: parking light help

well after searching forever i found out what wire is for the parking light. but still one more problem. the alarm system has a 10A fuse and says if the parking light system draws more than 10 to wire it (-) and to place it between the parking light relay and the parking light switch.

but what is the parking light switch? is it the switch on the left lever to turn the lights on and off, high beams.etc?

Re: parking light help

Best bet is to get the wiring digrams for our car. If you want I can try and upload the ones I have.

Re: parking light help

go to the12volt.com search for your prelude under the "vehicle wire database". It will have every wire color and location for your alarm, and all for free.

^^ 5th gen service manual. Chapter 23 me thinx.

12volt.com is a great resource. Easy to understand diagrams. I found it very handy for figuring out the oem radio wiring for a few cars.
