Painting my lip kit

I just bought a front lip and im going to paint it and my stock sides and rear.

I just need to figure out where to get paint...

Do you guys know anywhere that sells paint cans or spray cans for satin silver?

Thanks! :D

Re: Painting my lip kit

if your looking for the same color as your lude, then check the color code in your driver side door jam, then look up paint for that code online, touch up paint, buy it however you choose, i bought spray cans

if you are doing it a different color than your lude, then go to any autoparts store........

What color's your car? Black is pretty universal if that would look good. If not try an auto parts supply store, some places carry generic Honda, Chevy, Ford colors etc.

Re: Painting my lip kit

Almost all automotive paint shops have cameras that will tell them how to mix paint to match you car (if it's faded) or they can mix the factory code. I recommend getting one can of each, and using alternating coats.
Both can be put in aerosol cans ~ $15-20 each.
Don't get the base+clear, it will look like shiz and you can't wetsand it. You want base color only.
Ask them about "flex additives" for painting plastic.
You will also need plastic primer, and clearcoat.
Top Tip: rattle can DIY's come out much better when lightly sanded between coats. I painted my front bumper this way

Re: Painting my lip kit

O'Reilly, Advance, and AutoZone all carry Duplicolor "Perfect Match". They should all have Milano Red, Nighthawk Black Pearl, and a few others. If not, It can be ordered.
