so lost!!!

so ive been reading on how to adjust my parking brake and i just cant get it to work or find out whats wrong at all! i took off the center consil and tighten the brake and everything but it doesnt do a thing... when i lift the brake i can see it does do something in the caliper but it doesnt squeeze at all, does anyone have an idea on how to help me... im getting so mad at this, thank you!!!!

If it won't tighten up then either the cable is broke on both sides or the cables are stretched like mine were and you need new ones

Yeah they stretch big time espically if you use it alll the time. mine were replaced at about 140k. when i park i just leave it in gear and don't use the e brake unless i have to.

People forget that it only needs a few clicks and not to be yanked up all the way.

You will need the specific cable for your car, whether it be Honda or aftermarket.

Man I am sure guilty of pulling that thing up all the way, I guess its because I dont have power steering and got soem muscles lol, anyways Ill remember not to go all the way up thanks!

i use i click past snug and put the car in 1st unless its aiming downhill then its in reverse.
all cables stretch.. if you get a new one after you adjust it pull it real tight a few times to pre stretch it then readjust it.
if you pre stretch it won't suddenly stop holding without adjusting in when it's raining and you need it.
