Icon5 Searched for instructions: removing throttle body

Hey, everyone.

I tried searching the DIY section for instructions on how to remove/replace the throttle body. I'm seeing a lot of links, but not to instructions.

Basically, I just want to pull it off so I can work on the FITV, but I've never removed a throttle body, before. Does anyone have instructions, or know where in the DIY section the instructions are?

Tnx,

Re: Searched for instructions: removing throttle body

Remove the throttle body just take off the 4 bolts the hold it on. not too complicated.

Re: Searched for instructions: removing throttle body

Bolts, hoses, cables, wires, whatever else.. these are all things that concern me.. the four bolts are pretty straight forward. Is there anything inside that has to line up (aside from the four bolts)? What all is entailed?

Thanks for your reply,

Re: Searched for instructions: removing throttle body

Just disconnect everything. And the throttle body just slides off.

i always wanted to know this as well but isnt there something you have to do when you take the TPS off and replace it on the new throttle body.

Re: Searched for instructions: removing throttle body

dopeboi there is no reason to mess with it. so no need to worry. Don't remove the TPS sensor. there is no need to. just unplug it.
