Trying to find a hole in the firewall

I'm looking at doing some basic lighting work, and I'd really like to have some lights in my grille. I'm all set as far as wiring, but at a glance, I couldn't find a hole in the firewall that would work for my purposes. Anyone have any advice?

IF you look under the fusebox in the engine bay, there is one there. Only takes about 5 minutes to unscrew a couple screws and lift the box out of the way. No need to disconect any wires, it will just lay over to one side. There is a grommet on the FW there. Just make sure you pull back the carpet first or it will be a PITA to get the wire through there. The hole is located just above the ECU side of the firewall.

No need for a unibit or drill of any kind.

Good Luck !!!

Re: Trying to find a whole in the firewall

i have mine wired the same way, but tried looking for a DIY with pics and couldnt find any, also alot of this was confusing as hell to me, but now this seems easier to understand, and will do it soon, cant do it as of now, cause I have a breathalizer in my car.... previous DUI and it would screw with the system to unhook my battery to get the cable off, so Im just gonna keep it going through the door for now, and when I upgrade my system get a new wire and do it the right way next time... Thanks

EDIT:: Ill post a thread in the DIY section with pics when I do this, so people hopefully wont have this problem anymore

Re: Trying to find a whole in the firewall

Or if doing a fog light install you can use the factory prewired harness that's already there... here's the DIY on that: EXT: 5th Gen V2 Fog Light Install WITH FACTORY PREWIRED HARNESS
