Low idle issue better with defroster button on

I been having my low idle issue for quite a while now but I just leave my defroster button on and it helps with raising the idle. Anyone does this too? Does this help with narrowing down the potential problems leading to the low idle?

I do this as well. Tho I haven't had the car stall due to low idles *knocks on wood*, but it does get dangerously low (~200s) sometimes and the car shakes...but it bounces back and settles around 400. Using the rear defroster sets it up to around 500.

Winter is also coming along now so I'll be using this feature a lot........unfortunately....

Mine never stalled too, but gets low. Whenever the defroster button resets after a certain amount of time and goes off, my car suddenly starts to shake and idle wayy low. Then I turn the defroster back on and my cars idle gets a bit better and the shaking goes away..
