blue top vs red top h22a type s

whats the difference between a blue top and a red top h22a type s? and type s is the engine that goes right into type sh preludes right? i know that a regular h22 doesnt fit right into a sh model but will a h22 type s fit?

The type S costs almost double of the bluetop but if your not worried about money I'd get it. More power.

f20b is 2 liter and h22 is 2.2
h22 has more torque

"The F20B manual (t2t4 gearbox) version also utilized stronger cams, intake and throttle body from the H22 type S"

of course they have different ecus

even basic jdm h22a is better than f20b

^ Unless he's referring to H23A VTEC "blue top". 2.3l more torque than H22

H23A DOHC VTEC 200 PS (147 kW; 197 hp) & 163 lbft (221 Nm)
