Growling Exhaust

I've been out of the honda scene for about 2 years now so I feel out of the loop with alot of stuff.. I am about to buy a 98 prelude sh and start my journey with it... one of the biggest things i would like though and I have yet to see it is a prelude/civic with a deep growling exhaust... I am wanting to make the exhaust sound more like a 300z then a Civic rice burner...

And we drive little 4 cylinder Honda's - you can't really compare it to the sound of a 6 cyl...

SMSP header, SMSP high flow cat, SMSP 3" exhaust, Vibrant resonator, Greddy Evo2 muffler

It still sounds like a Honda. Although a great improvement, does not sound like a Nissan...

Re: Growling Exhaust

My Greddy Evo2 is real deep and I love it. But like stated above, you cannot replicate the sound of a 6 or 8 cylinder car with a 4 banger.

Re: Growling Exhaust

i use the greddy evo 2 and there is only one other exhaust i would rather have and that is the mugen twin loop but they seem to be prettyrare and when they do come up for sale your looking at spending $700+(that is at least in canada where i live)

Re: Growling Exhaust

Growl? 2 piece Uneven headers, works for subaru.

I don't understand anymore. Stealth quiet is the way to go, avoiding attention and exhaust summonses, you just run two mufflers in succession, but are 2.5 or 3 inches piping so the flow is still there.
