hid noob

I've scoured the forum for a diy on hid installation, and i can't seem to find one. I never have good luck with the search engine on this site. it just pops up anything with the letters hid, which is just about every thread. I was wondering if someone could kindly point me in the right direction via link or personal explination that would be so appreciated. any suggestions on what hid kit i should get?

Re: hid noob

Go on DDM HID website. The bulb type is H1 and get the 35 watt slim-ballast. I recommend 6k for the light output. I finally ordered mine today after wanting a HID kit for the loooooongest time. Oh and they are backed by life-time warranty. Here's the link for you...

PS. Shipping cost is stupendous imo

Re: hid noob

I have DDM tuning and love it no complaints at all. But I wouldn't recommend putting HID's in your ebay fogs I don't think they can handle the heat.

Re: hid noob

HID harness, error eliminator, adaptor cable, and mounting brackets.... on ddm tuning these options appear, are any of them necessary? And Aced you said to het h1, if i already have h3 will the adaptor cable be needed?
