Post manual swap!!!

So I got my lude back from its manual swap about two weeks ago and I love it!!! I do have a few questions though. I do alot of freeway driving and I miss my cruise control, is that something I should have lost use of? Also when the shift boot was installed it appears that it was just stapled in and it is already pulling out. So if anyone knows how i can truely fix that I would be grateful.

Thanks guys

Re: Post manual swap!!!

There's a cable connecting the CC assembly in the engine bay to the gas pedal. Follow it from the engine back backwards, see if its disconnected anywhere. Or just look directly on top of the gas pedal and see if you see TWO cables attached to it.

Re: Post manual swap!!!

if it was at a shop take that **** back and have them fix your shift boot properly. you payed them already so you shouldnt have to fix their mistake.

congrats on the swap though, how much it cost you total? if you got an engine dont include the engine/tranny price please

Re: Post manual swap!!!

I bet your enjoying it. Another auto t0 manual testimony. haha Yeah I agree with ProjectPrelude95 they should of done everything and left everything how it was. You can fix it yourself by taking of the console and feeding the shift boot into the clamp thingy. Cruise control should work maybe something became loose or they fuxcked it up.

All said and done it was just under 4k with the trans. They were the only shop in town that would take on the project.
