Clutch Suggestions

Well I guess it's time for a new clutch. I went to the track the other week and it just couldn't handle the nitrous shot anymore. I was wondering if anyone has suggestions for a good aftermerket clutch to put in it.

There is alot of threads on this man. You running NA with nitrous or boosted? Any future plans for the Lude such as boost if it isn't already? Road course or Drag Track?

Re: Clutch Suggestions

Ive always trusted spec's... only clutch iver PERSONALY owned and handled street and the occasional track abuse. I ran Specs in my 95 eg, 89 CRX, 03 mustang GT and just installed one 2 weeks ago in my SH, are you running a stock clutch now?

Re: Clutch Suggestions

I've heard good things on Exedy, that's the brand Im going with when I do my swap. Actual kind of clutch I can't help, Im just going OEM since it's my DD maybe stage 3 or 4?

Re: Clutch Suggestions

Stage 3 or 4?!?!?!?! On A DD?! your leg is going to get a work out. That is really unessary on a daily driver unless your only commute is the drag strip.

Re: Clutch Suggestions

He never stated if it was a DD or not. Assuming it's not stage 3 or 4 is my best guess.

Re: Clutch Suggestions

It is NA with a 75 shot. The only way i would boost it, is if i find a JRSC. It is my daily right now and goes to the drag strip once every week or two.

Re: Clutch Suggestions

Go with a stock clutch replacement or a stage 2 at most. Excedy is good from what i hear. search around a little bit.
